This is the sport sedan jewel that you can own soon – Porsche Panamera S Hybrid will go on sale later this year for only $95,000. With 34.5mpg it is the most fuel efficient Porsche ever build.

Debuting at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the 2012 Porsche Panamera S Hybrid is the most fuel-efficient Porsche of all time. Gorgeous sport sedan is powered by the same petrol engine and electric motor setup as in the Cayenne S Hybrid. 3.0L supercharged V6 engine making 333-hp is married with a 47-hp electric-motor.

Porsche Panamera S Hybrid performance is at 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 167 mph. I am looking forward to more tweaked version that will come closer to 4 seconds. The 2012 Panamera S Hybrid can also drive on pure electricity for only one mile at speeds of just over 50 mph. Enough to take you from one traffic light to another in the city. Just don’t forget to break slowly and charge battery.

Gorgeous car, reasonable price and technology to freeze your blood. Say no more. If you are in the market for the performance sedan with serious green creditability, I warmly recommend you short wait till the end of 2011. The 2012 Porsche Panamera S Hybrid is a real deal.

The day has come! Porsche has revealed a race-bred version of 918 Spyder Concept at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show. Build on the same drivetrain as the 911 GT3 R Hybrid race car, Porsche 918 RSR is good enough for 767 horsepower. 563 bhp will come from 6.2-liter V8 with amazing 10,300 rpm. Two electric motors, each with 75 kilowatts, will be placed at each front wheel. This will allow perfect balance of Porsche 918 RSR, and of course, massive rapid acceleration.

Porsche 918 RSR hybrid is built out of carbon fiber reinforced plastic, same as Porsche 918 Spyder concept car. Porsche AG Design Chief, Michael Mauer, underlined Porsche intention to resemble shape of the legendary racer from 1972. Porsche 917 short-tail.

Matthias Mueller, President and CEO of Porsche AG said: “We are back in Detroit with a clear message: Porsche further extends its competencies when it comes to performance and efficiency. The Porsche 918 RSR impressively demonstrates the passion of our engineers and designers for developing the world’s most advanced and best looking sports cars”.

Porsche 929 hybrid supercar will debut on 2011 Detroit Auto Show! In just a few days we’ll see new surprise and hybrid supercar offered by the masters of excitement on the road. Porsche 929.

Rumours say 929 is actually production version of Porsche 918 Spyder, we wrote about few months ago. Or at least closer to production than previously shown Porsche 918 Spyder concept. German magazine AutoZeitung, claim the new model will be called the 929. Similar to the Porsche 918 Spyder, this sport car have a hybrid drivetrain that will combine a 4.8 liter V8 Biturbo engine with three electric motors. Power will be distributed to all four wheels and this AWD will be matched with Porsche’s 7-speed Doppelkupplungsgetriebe PDK transmission. 918 Spyder can propeller from 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 198 mph. We expect that Porsche 929 hybrid will at least match those numbers. AutoZeitung even presented artist impression of the new Porsche 929 hybrid, presented in our main images of this article.

Porsche spokesman Hans- Gerd Bode stated that the company will make a comeback with a “spectacular new concept that points towards a future road going model. We’ll have something spectacular to show there. You’ll have to wait and be surprised.” Bode added.

Few days only… Our hearts will beat faster and for sure we’ll post videos and images of the new Porsche 929 after showoff on the 2011 Detroit Auto Show.

Is this the most beautiful Porsche 911 ever built? I would argue it is. GT3. Handling and speed are fearsome. But visually this car is stunning. Balance of design, colours and equipment is amazing.

OK, this is my favourite Porsche ever. What is yours? If you could buy one tomorrow, which one would you choose?

This car belong in a museum. For a speed, handling, grace and looks. Must be one of the most beautiful cars ever build. Just perfect. But OK, let’s og to details.

Developed for racing series based on the international FIA GT3 regulations, the stunning Porsche 911 GT3 R succeeds the 911 GT3 Cup S and is delivered to customers ready-to-race car. The starting point in developing the Porsche 911 GT3 R was the latest 3.8-litre Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, which will compete in the 2010 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup supporting selected Formula 1 races. However, the Porsche 911 GT3 R – which weighs just 1,200 kg (2,646 lb) – has a larger 4.0-litre six-cylinder ‘boxer’ engine delivering 480 bhp and other technical developments designed to improve the performance of the car further still.

For example, an anti-lock braking system, traction control and an electronic throttle with ‘blip’ function on gearbox down-changes make it much easier for drivers to get used to the Porsche 911 GT3 R race car than the prior Cup S model, with the consequence that the new car is also more appropriate for the ambitious amateur racing driver rather than purely experienced professionals. As always, the main focus for porsche was to deliver even better driveability and easier handling. but don’t worry, you can still scare yourself in corner with this mental speed.

Additional flared wheel arches front and rear emphasise the purposeful, wide track of the Porsche 911 GT3 R. And like all second generation versions of the 911, the new Porsche 911 GT3 R also comes with striking LED rear light clusters. For optimal aerodynamic performance, the underbody of the car is completely covered and features a rear diffuser and, compared to the prior Cup S model, the range of adjustment on the rear wing has been increased.

The highly-developed suspension can also be adjusted extensively; at the front are height-adjustable MacPherson struts with variable SACHS two-way shock absorbers and double coil springs (main and auxiliary). At the rear, the Porsche 911 GT3 R features a rigidly mounted sub-frame with a height-adjustable multi-arm axle together with adjustable SACHS two-way shock absorbers and double coil springs.

“Since we announced our intention to launch the Porsche 911 GT3 R, demand has been huge,” said Uwe Brettel, Head of Motorsport Sales. “The number of GT3 R vehicles we had planned for 2010 is almost sold out.”

As the newest Porsche race car, the 911 GT3 R has an incredible provenance. In 2009, the ultimate racing Porsche 911 – the GT3 RSR – won the GT2 Drivers’ title in the FIA GT Championship, the GT2 title in the American Le Mans Series and also in the Le Mans Series of endurance races, and also triumphed in the gruelling 24 Hours of the Nurburgring race.

Like the 911 GT3 Cup and 911 GT3 RSR, the Porsche 911 GT3 R is designed and built by the Porsche Motorsport Department at the company’s Weissach Development Centre. First deliveries to customer teams around the world begin in the spring, and the base price of the Porsche 911 GT3 R is 279,000 Euros plus local sales tax/VAT.

Accordingly to few sources from there is a new Porsche 911 for 2012 and here are some details about this classic wonder.

The vehicle will offer a more generous interior space as it will be longer (+56 mm with a total length of 4.49 meters), coming with a wheelbase increased by 10 mm. It will have a a sportier stance, as it will be 11 mm shorter.

Furthermore, the supercar will offer a higher level of efficiency thanks to revised engines and a weight decrease. The future 911 will tip the scales at 20 kg lower than the current generation. The vehicle will come with a new rear axle, with the entry-level offering 19-inch rims and the Carrera S coming with 20-inch wheels.

As for the 911’s powertrain line-up, this will offer a higher level of efficiency. The entry-level 3.6 liter Boxer unit will see its capacity decreased to 3.4 liters, offering 350 hp. This will allow the vehicle to complete the 0 to 62 mph sprint in 4.8 seconds and offer a top speed of 180 mph (289 km/h), while returning a fuel economy of 27.7 mpg /8.5 liters per 100 km (a 13 percent enhancement).

The Carrera S will get a refreshed 3.8 liter engine developing 400 hp, which will offer it a time of 4.5 seconds for the 0 to 62 mph sprint, allowing it to come with a top speed of 302 km/h (188 mph) and return a fuel economy of 25.8 mpg/9.1 liters per 100 km (a 14% improvement).

What a beauty! We can’t wait to finish with 2011 and drive this beauty.

Maybe Porsche is only my weak spot, so please let me include Panamera Hybrid in out list of production supercars. or at least let’s say sport-cars.

Porsche just announced that hybrid version of their only four door, four seat sedan will be available on sale in 2011. Same as Cayenne, it will feature 3L v6 TSI engine with 333 BHP and 37Kw electric engine.  According to Porsche CEO Matthias Muller, Porsche Panamera might come in the near future with a plug-in system for recharging the lithium-ion batteries of the hybrid version. Muller said that he even drove this plug-in Panamera and that he was very impressed.

It is wonderful looking car (specially interior), and it is damn fast. Introducing hybrid AND plug-in version is great example implementation of the green technology in motoring today. Green supercars are reality. This may be just green sport sedan, but it will open door for Spyder 918 Hybrid. The real deal.

By the way, if you have $73,000 and want Panamera in your garage – your Christmas Wish may just come true. We heard that new entry level Panamera will have exactly this price tag. Contact your Porsche dealer today! Merry Christmas!

And Yes… they just have to win this one too! Porsche created legend of a sport car. 911. Now they intend to be kings of green supercars too. Meet Porsche 918 Spyder. Yes, I am in love again.

This amazing hybrid will close game on all other manufactures. Faster than Carrera GT – 3 seconds from 0 to 100. Top speed 320km/h. And most important – only 94 miles per gallon. And smaller carbon footprint than Toyota Prius. 70g/km for 918, against 89 for Prius. Should we mention that looks much better too!

For engine lovers, we have V8 with 500 BHP and 9,200 rpm, plus two electric motors. One on each axle. This will allow Porsche engineers to balance weight, delivering great handling.

I don’t doubt that this 2 seater will make production too. Porsche have to keep their status as manufacture of ultimate sport car and green supercar is a way to go today. As we can already see GT3 on race tracks and Hybrid Cayenne in showrooms, I doubt this one is far away.

When we can put our deposit down, please?

911 was always the best handing car on the streets. Maybe it was not the fastest or the prettiest, but for handing and getting fast from point A to point B there is no match. And I have to admit I adore that timeless styling. Just perfect sport car. now with a twist.

Porsche offers hybrid models. You can already get big Cayenne, soft-roader as hybrid. But if you are after sport car, you alraedy know that Cayenne is not that. It’s posh car for showoff. Good car, btu nothing like 911. And 911 is the one we should expect to drive with hybrid or electric engine. As we know electric engines have instan power that is recless good for racing. Put that in perfectly balanced body and you have rocket. That is what GT3 is. For now on racing circuts around Europe and US, but i expect it won’t be long till we see it in showrooms.

GT3 Hybrid have 480HP petrol engine at the back and two 60KW engines at the front. I am sure that Porsche engenires perfeclty balanced car again. GT3RSR Hybrid just raced in Petit Le Mans, didn’t won, but it did well. So I am sure with we’ll see some modification as they need win to promote car. I am sure there will be a big list of us who are hungry for Hybrid 911 and I don’t doubt it will be sucess for Porsche.

Is there another car that you will like to see in hybrid or full electric version?
